As a web developer/ engineer, you must be good with software, be very logical, and have a good understanding of good UI practices.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Develop dynamic database driven web tools and applications
  • Debug web pages visually and functionally
  • Develop new web applications for both internal and external use
  • Create innovative and reusable functions during development
  • Stay familiar with new technology and programming methods to improve sites and efficiency in writing code
  • Develop content management solutions
  • Design or participate in the design of software projects
  • Work closely with other developers, product managers, IT, QA, marketing, and graphic designers
